Hindusthan was under Islamic rule for almost 350 years before the birth of chhatrapati shivaji maharaj. Thousands of Temples were destroyed, women were raped and lakhs of Hindus were converted to islam under the Islamic rule.
Chhatrapati shivaji maharaj took the sword in his hand, gathered his countrymen, charged them with patriotism and dharm bhakti and changed the whole scenario hardly within 35 years.
Great historian Sir Jadunath Sarkar writes in his famous book "Shivaji - His Life and Times"....
"Shivaji was the first to challenge Bijapur and delhi and thus teach his countrymen that it was possible for them to be independent leaders in war. Then, he founded a state and taught his people that they were capable of administering a kingdom in all its departments.
He has proved by his example that the HINDU race can build a nation, found a state, defeat enemies, they can conduct their own defence, they can protect and promote literature and art, commerce and industry, they can maintain navies and oceantrading fleets of their own, and conduct naval battles on equal terms with foreigners. He taught the modern Hindus to rise to the full stature of their growth.
He has proved that the HINDU race can still produce not only jamaitdars(non-commissioned officers) and chitnises(clerks) but also rulers of men and even a king of kings(chhatrapati). The emperor Jahangir cut the Akshay bat tree of Allahabad down to its roots and hammered a red hot iron cauldron on to its stump. He flattered himself that he had killed it. But lo! Within a year the tree began to grow again and pushed the heavy obstruction to its growth aside.
Shivaji has shown that the tree of Hinduism is not really dead, that it can rise from beneath the seemingly crushing load of centuries of political bondage, exclusion from the administration and legal repression, it can put forth new leaves and branches, it can again lift up its head to the skies."

At the age of 44, on jyeshtha shuddh 13 i.e. 6th June 1674, shivaji maharaj got coronated on the fort Raigad. He founded a Hindu State and rescued the whole hindu community from getting ruined completely. He was a born revolutionary.
He thus became the Chhatrapati (king of kings) of hindavi swarajya(a sovereign hindu state). He also created a golden throne as his Sinhasan.
After chhatrapati shivaji's death, his son Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj took the charge of Hindavi Swarajya.
Unfortunately after the life sacrifice of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Fort Raigad was conquered by mughals and this golden throne was shattered into pieces by mukarrab khan (1689).
Since then the Kingdom of Hindu State is without that throne. The golden throne of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was the symbol of Hindu Pride. It was the driving force for lakhs of Hindus to fight the war of independence.
Even in today's era, it is indeed our duty to reestablish this golden throne once again. This will definitely raise the confidence of Hindu community and will also create winning attitude among Hindus.
Taking this into account SHRI SHIVPRATISHTHAN HINDUSTHAN, an Organization lead by Pujaneeya Sambhajirav Bhide Guruji has taken this task up and has decided to reestablish the Golden throne of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the Fort Raigad once again.
In order to reestablish this golden throne on raigad fort, it is necessary to raise the funds on larger scale. It is duty of every hindu on this earth to donate nobally in this national cause. Of course the system is very transparent.
